Chris Eubank's Boxing Career
Chris Eubank was born in Dulwich, London, England on August 8, 1966. He made his professional debut at the age of 19 years on October 3, 1985 against Tim Brown. Eubank defeated Brown via 4-round unanimous decision, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Eubank became a world champion at the age of 24 after 24 professional fights. He challenged Nigel Benn for the WBO middleweight title and stopped the champion in the 9th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the super-middleweight (WBO) titles also to become a two-division world champion.
Eubank's last fight was a 9th-round RTD loss to Carl Thompson at age 31, on July 18, 1998, in which he was fighting for the WBO cruiserweight title.
