Félix Trinidad (Tito) is a 51-year-old retired Puerto Rican professional boxer. He is a three-weightclass world champion with 5 world-title wins. In a career spanning 17 years, 10 months, and 9 days, Trinidad amassed a record of 42-3, which includes 35 wins via KO, 16 of which were in world-title fights. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) in 2014.
Félix Trinidad was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1973. He made his professional debut at the age of 17 years on March 10, 1990 against Angel Romero. Trinidad defeated Romero via 2nd round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Trinidad became a world champion at the age of 20 after 19 professional fights. He challenged Maurice Blocker for the IBF welterweight title and stopped the champion in the 2nd of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully conquer the super-welterweight (WBA, IBF) and middleweight (WBA) divisions as well to become a three-division world champion.
Trinidad's last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Roy Jones Jr. at age 35, on January 19, 2008.
