Terence Crawford

Terence Crawford was born in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S. on September 28, 1987. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 years on March 14, 2008 against Brian Cummings. Crawford defeated Cummings via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Crawford became a world champion at the age of 26 after 22 professional fights. He challenged Ricky Burns for the WBO lightweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round unanimous decision, winning his first world title.

He then went on to successfully conquer the super-lightweight (WBO, WBC, The Ring, WBA, IBF), welterweight (WBO, WBA, WBC, IBF, The Ring), and super-welterweight (WBA) divisions as well to become a four-division world champion — and undisputed at super-lightweight and welterweight.

Crawford's latest fight was a unanimous decision victory over Israil Madrimov at age 36, on August 3, 2024, in which he won the WBA super-welterweight world title.
