David Haye's Boxing Career

David Haye was born in Bermondsey, London, England on October 13, 1980. He made his professional debut at the age of 22 years on December 8, 2002 against Tony Booth. Haye defeated Booth via 2nd round RTD, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Haye became a world champion fight at the age of 27 after 20 professional fights. He challenged Jean-Marc Mormeck for the WBA (Unified), WBC, and The Ring cruiserweight titles and stopped the champion in the 7th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world titles.

He then went on to successfully win the heavyweight (WBA) title also to become a two-division world champion.

Haye's last fight was a 5th-round TKO loss to Tony Bellew at age 37, on May 5, 2018.
