Stephen Fulton Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. on July 17, 1994. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 years on October 14, 2014 against Issac Badger. Fulton Jr. defeated Badger via 2nd round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Fulton Jr. became a world champion at the age of 26 after 18 professional fights. He challenged Angelo Leo for the WBO super-bantamweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round unanimous decision, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the featherweight (WBC) title also to become a two-division world champion.
