Dmitry Bivol

Dmitry Bivol was born in Tokmak, Kyrgyz SSR, Soviet Union on December 18, 1990. He made his professional debut at the age of 23 years on November 28, 2014 against Jorge Rodriguez Olivera. Bivol defeated Olivera via 6th round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Bivol got elevated as the WBA light-heavyweight champion at the age of 26 after 12 professional fights, and had his first world-title defense fight against Trent Broadhurst on November 4, 2017. He stopped Broadhurst in the 1st of the 12-round fight.

Bivol's latest fight was a 6th-round TKO victory over Malik Zinad at age 33, on June 1, 2024, in which he successfully defended his WBA (Super) light-heavyweight championship.
