Toto Landero's Boxing Career
Toto Landero was born in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, Philippines on October 20, 1995. He made his professional debut at the age of 18 years on December 28, 2013 against Mark Macabales. Landero defeated Macabales via 2nd round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Landero got his first shot at a world title at the age of 22 after 13 professional fights. On March 6, 2018 Landero challenged Knockout CP Freshmart's WBA strawweight title but lost via 12-round unanimous decision. Landero never got a world-title shot again.
Landero's last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Christian Araneta at age 26, on June 17, 2022.
