Jeff Lacy's Boxing Career
Jeff Lacy was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, U.S. on May 12, 1977. He made his professional debut at the age of 23 years on February 2, 2001 against Jerald Lowe. Lacy defeated Lowe via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Lacy became a world champion at the age of 27 after 17 professional fights. He challenged Syd Vanderpool for the vacant IBF super-middleweight title and stopped Vanderpool in the 8th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
Lacy's last fight was a 4th-round TKO loss to Sullivan Barrera at age 37, on January 30, 2015.
