Junto Nakatani Record

Junto Nakatani was born in Inabe, Mie Prefecture, Japan on January 2, 1998. He made his professional debut at the age of 17 years on April 26, 2015 against Junichi Itoga. Nakatani defeated Itoga via 1st round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Nakatani became a world champion at the age of 22 after 20 professional fights. He challenged Giemel Magramo for the vacant WBO flyweight title and stopped Magramo in the 8th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.

He then went on to successfully conquer the super-flyweight (WBO) and bantamweight (WBC) divisions as well to become a three-division world champion.

Nakatani's latest fight was a 6th-round KO victory over Tasana Salapat at age 26, on October 14, 2024, in which he successfully defended his WBC bantamweight championship.

Junto Nakatani Next Fight: He is next scheduled to fight David Cuellar (28-0, 18 KOs) on February 24, 2025. He will be defending his WBC bantamweight title. On the day of the fight, he will be 27 years old, and Cuellar 23.
