Boxing Career
Nick Ball was born in Liverpool, Merseyside, U.K. on February 28, 1997. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 years on June 30, 2017 against Dmitrijs Gutmans. Ball defeated Gutmans via 4 round points decision, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Ball got his first shot at a world title at the age of 27 after 19 professional fights. On March 8, 2024 Ball challenged Rey Vargas' WBC featherweight title but lost via 12-round split decision.
In his next fight, he got another shot at the featherweight WBA (Regular) title — this time against Raymond Ford. He defeated Ford via 12-round split decision, winning his first world title.
Ball's latest fight was a 10th-round RTD victory over TJ Doheny at age 28, on March 15, 2025.
