Azat Hovhannisyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia on August 15, 1988. He made his professional debut at the age of 22 years on April 23, 2011 against Juan Reyes. Hovhannisyan lost to Reyes via 4-round unanimous decision. Not a good start!
