Caleb Plant was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, U.S. on July 8, 1992. He made his professional debut at the age of 21 years on May 10, 2014 against Travis Davidson. Plant defeated Davidson via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Plant became a world champion at the age of 26 after 17 professional fights. He challenged José Uzcátegui for the IBF super-middleweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round unanimous decision, winning his first world title.
