Juan Carlos Reveco was born in Malargüe, Argentina on August 25, 1983. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 years on April 23, 2004 against Ernesto Daniel Maldonado. Reveco defeated Maldonado via 3rd round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Reveco became a world champion at the age of 23 after 15 professional fights. He challenged Nethra Sasiprapa for the vacant WBA light-flyweight title and stopped Sasiprapa in the 8th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the flyweight (WBA) titles also to become a two-division world champion.
Reveco's last fight was a 7th-round TKO loss to Donnie Nietes at age 34, on February 24, 2018, in which he was fighting for the IBF flyweight title.
