Shavkat Rakhimov Record

Shavkat Rakhimov was born in Qurghon-Teppa, Khatlon Province, Tajikistan on August 14, 1994. He made his professional debut at the age of 21 years on December 6, 2015 against Visita Gairabekov. Rakhimov defeated Gairabekov via 2nd round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Rakhimov got his first shot at a world title at the age of 26 after 15 professional fights. On February 13, 2021 Rakhimov challenged Joseph Diaz' IBF super-featherweight title but lost via 12-round majority decision.

He became a world champion on November 5, 2022 at the age of 28 years, after by defeating Zelfa Barrett in a clash for the vacant IBF super-featherweight champion. Rakhimov stopped Barrett in the 9th round of the 12-round world-title fight. This was his 18th fight as a professional.

Rakhimov's latest fight was an 8th-round KO loss to Justin Pauldo at age 30, on February 8, 2025.
