Boxing Career
Robinson Castellanos was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on April 19, 1982. He made his professional debut at the age of 19 years on March 23, 2002 against Omar Loreto. Castellanos defeated Loreto via 2nd round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Castellanos got his first shot at a world title at the age of 35 after 36 professional fights. On July 15, 2017 Castellanos challenged Jezzrel Corrales' WBA super-featherweight title but lost via 10 round technical decision. Castellanos never got a world-title shot again.
