Bryant Brannon was born in Trenton, New Jersey, U.S. on September 8, 1966. He made his professional debut at the age of 25 years on January 19, 1992 against Amahl Bacon. Brannon defeated Bacon via 1st round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Brannon got his first shot at a world title at the age of 30 after 16 professional fights. On October 4, 1996 Brannon challenged Roy Jones Jr's IBF super-middleweight title but lost via 2nd round TKO. Brannon never got a world-title shot again.
