O'Neil Bell's Boxing Career
O'Neil Bell was born in Jamaica on December 29, 1974. He made his professional debut at the age of 23 years on February 19, 1998 against William Holyfield. Bell defeated Holyfield via 1st round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Bell became a world champion at the age of 30 after 25 professional fights. He challenged Dale Brown for the vacant IBF cruiserweight title and defeated Brown via 12-round unanimous decision, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the WBA, WBC, and The Ring cruiserweight world titles as well.
Bell's last fight was a 1st-round TKO victory over Rico Cason at age 36, on December 17, 2011.
