Boxing Career
Victor Cordoba was born in Darién, Panama on March 15, 1962. He made his professional debut at the age of 19 years on May 30, 1981 against Felix Rivas. The fight ended in a draw.
Cordoba became a world champion at the age of 29 after 22 professional fights. He challenged Christophe Tiozzo for the WBA super-middleweight title and stopped the champion in the 9th of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
Cordoba's last fight was a 4th-round TKO victory over Eduardo Rodriguez at age 37, on July 30, 1999.
