David Telesco was born in Port Chester, New York, U.S. on May 6, 1968. He made his professional debut at the age of 22 years on January 13, 1991 against Anthony Sutton. Telesco defeated Sutton via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Telesco got his first world-title fight at the age of 31 after 25 professional fights. On January 15, 2000 Telesco challenged Roy Jones Jr.'s IBF and WBC light-heavyweight titles but lost via 12-round unanimous decision. Telesco never got a world-title shot again.
Telesco's last fight was a 5th-round TKO loss to Vincent Miranda at age 44, on May 18, 2012.
