Paul Ingle

Paul Ingle was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England on June 22, 1972. He made his professional debut at the age of 21 years on March 23, 1994 against Darren Noble. Ingle defeated Noble via 3rd round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Ingle got his first shot at a world title at the age of 26 after 21 professional fights. On April 10, 1999 Ingle challenged Naseem Hamed's WBO featherweight title but lost via 11th round TKO.

In his next fight, he got another shot at the featherweight IBF title — this time against Manuel Medina. He defeated Medina via 11th round TKO, winning his first world title.

Ingle's last fight was a 12th-round TKO loss to Mbulelo Botile at age 28, on December 16, 2000, in which he lost his IBF featherweight title.
