Anthony Joshua was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, England on October 15, 1989. He made his professional debut at the age of 23 years on October 5, 2013 against Emanuele Leo. Joshua defeated Leo via 1st round TKO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Joshua became a world champion at the age of 26 after 15 professional fights. He challenged Charles Martin for the IBF heavyweight title and stopped the champion in the 2nd of the 12-round fight, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the WBA and WBO heavyweight world titles as well.
