César Cuenca was born in Tres Isletas, Chaco, Argentina on January 18, 1981. He made his professional debut at the age of 21 years on August 10, 2002 against Guillermo Lezcano. Cuenca defeated Lezcano via 4-round unanimous decision, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
