Juan Macias Montiel was born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico on April 15, 1994. He made his professional debut at the age of 15 years on November 13, 2009 against Ruben Longoria. Montiel defeated Longoria via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
