Gabriel Mira was born in Metepec, Hidalgo, Mexico on February 28, 1972. He made his professional debut at the age of 19 years on March 27, 1991 against Eduardo Manzano. Mira defeated Manzano via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
