Eimantas Stanionis was born in Kaunas, Lithuania on August 17, 1994. He made his professional debut at the age of 22 years on April 9, 2017 against Rasheed Lawal. Stanionis defeated Lawal via 1st round KO, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Stanionis became a world champion at the age of 27 after 14 professional fights. He challenged Radzhab Butaev for the WBA (Regular) welterweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round split decision, winning his first world title.
Stanionis' latest fight was a unanimous decision victory over Gabriel Maestre at age 29, on May 4, 2024, in which he successfully defended his WBA (Regular) welterweight championship.
