Berinchyk came in to the fight on a 19-fight win streak with a 47% KO rate, and was fighting after a gap of 8 months and 27 days. Davis was on a 12-fight win streak with a 66% KO rate, and fighting after a layoff of 3 months and 6 days.
Keyshawn Davis stopped the champion via KO in the 4th round of the 12-round world-title fight, winning the first world title of his career, and is crowned the new WBO lightweight champion. Davis improves his record to 13-0 (9 KOs), while Berinchyk adds a loss to his record at 19-1.
